Myspace deleted my profile and all 2200 friends, I’m furious!

I use my profile to stay in contact with friends and readers that I’ve made through the blog. Over 2200 friends were gone, with no way to reach them again. I sent a email to Myspace customer support, which resulted in a dead end. I received a generated response telling me how to reset my password, with no attempt to actually answer my questions about the problem. I’ve had friends who were locked out of Myspace, and the response was a painful process of taking a picture of yourself holding a sign with your account ID number on it.
